The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.7% in the June quarter and was +2.1% YOY. The trimmed mean annual inflation was 2.7%, down from 2.9% in the March quarter and the lowest reading since December 2021

Food and non-alcoholic beverages prices were up 3% YOY. Higher prices for snacks and confectionery products pushed the annual increase for other food products up 5.5%YOY for the quarter. Restaurant meal prices were +2.3% YOY in the June quarter, down from +2.7% in March.
