Australian dairy exports declined 0.9% YOY in milk solids equivalent terms (MSE) in September.       Cheese exports fell 0.2% YOY for the month, but with mixed trends across key regions – increases in China & HK and SE Asia but declines in Japan and South Korea. Butterfat exports decreased 64.5% YOY for the month in commercial butter equivalents (CBE) – AMF fell 60.1% YOY while butter was down 65.8% YOY.

After declining for seven consecutive months, SMP exports rose 32.7% YOY in September, with most of the increase in shipments to SE Asia. WMP exports also improved, up 11.5% YOY, but on minimal volumes.
