BoM: La Niña continues

The latest Climate and Water Outlook from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology’s (BoM) is for the current La Niña is to until early autumn. La Niña will likely bring above average rainfall to the east coast but below average rainfall in western Victoria, Tasmania and eastern parts of South Australia in the February to April period.

Temperatures are expected to be warmer across most of Australia, however cooler daytime temperatures are forecast along the south-east mainland coast. Streamflows are likely to be high in the east for January to March 2022.
