We estimate EU milk production increased 4.5% YOY in November, according to Eurostat and AGEA.

This includes YOY growth in France (+6.3%), Germany (+7.5%), Poland (+5.3%), Denmark (+0.7%), Austria (+9.8% YOY), Belgium (+9.7% YOY) and Sweden (+6.4%). November production declined YOY in Ireland (-2.3% YOY) and Spain (-6.4% YOY). EU milk production YOY growth in the last 4 months was just below 2bn kg. EU milk solids output in November increased 4.9% YOY, 0.4% above milk growth.

In latest available 2026 data, French output rose 5.2% YOY in week 1, a six-week low. German production increased 6.8% YOY in the last week of December. UK milk supplies rose close to 3.5% YOY in the first three days of 2026.
