EU milk production declined 2% YOY in February leap year-adjusted or 235m kg according to the European Commission.

      There were declines in major producers with  Germany down 3.3% and France -4% YOY for the month. After several months of strong growth on low comparatives, Irish milk collections were 3.6% lower. Netherlands output was down 2.5% YOY while Italy and Belgium were down 4.9% and 9.6% YOY respectively. In contrast there were increased milk collections in Denmark and Poland, up 8.2% and 1.7% respectively.
