The New Zealand cooperative reported 7.3% year-over-year in April, with seasonal output +4.0% ahead of the prior season.

Production rose across the North Island, with output up 10.7% YOY in April and seasonal output +3.4% ahead of prior season. On the South Island, production rose +3.8% YOY for the month, with season-to-date production 4.9% higher. Favourable pasture conditions across both islands spurred milk production in April.

Fonterra forecasts milk collections of 1,565m in the 2025-26 season.
