In its latest Global Dairy Outlook, Fonterra reported that July production rose 8% year-over-year to 22.4m kgMS — a new high for July. Season-to-date (June-July) collections are +7.4% above the season prior, keeping in mind that June and July output represent less than 3% of the full season.

      In the North Island, production rose 8.2% YOY in July due to favourable weather and pasture conditions. In the South Island, output tracked 6.6% ahead YOY with above average temperatures supporting pasture growth despite excessively wet conditions across some regions.
