Fonterra has announced and 15c per kgMS step up for its suppliers, taking its weighted average price to $9.05kgMS.

Announcing the step up, managing director, David Breckenridge noted  global commodity prices have softened and domestic demand remains flat, with only currency favourable to returns. He also noted Fonterra’s early season milk collections have exceeded forecasts with improving climatic conditions.
