In latest available data for week 16 (ending 17th of April 2026), French milk output declined 0.3% YOY on relatively strong prior year comparables and continued to fall after reaching an earlier seasonal peak in week 11. In the same week (16), UK supplies were ahead by 0.2% YOY. In week 15, German milk flow increased 5.8% YOY. Overall, milk production in Northwestern Europe remains resilient and ahead of early-2026 expectations, but the YOY growth has peaked and directionally will be slowing a lot more in coming months. Based on nearly three-quarters of average Eurostat-reported average milk production, March supplies rose 4.4% YOY, a 7-month low.
