The GDT price index lost 2.8% with red ink across most products and contracts at GDT event #370—the last auction of 2024.

WMP ended its run of gains recording losses across all contracts, and falling 2.4% on average to US$3,890/t. The bumpy ride for SMP continued, losing 3.2% to average US$2,757/t. Demand was below average but buyers from China took a little more than half the sales for a higher tonnage than the prior event.  

AMF this time took the biggest hits after Fonterra lifted forecast volumes at this event, down 4.2% to US$7,267/t. Butter prices fell 0.7% on average to US$6,631/t with falls for contracts with later deliveries.

Cheddar was close to flat on average, losing 0.2% on average to US$4,682/t. Mozzarella lost 1.8% on average to US$4,033/t. .
