Irish milk supplies fell 1.3% YOY in June – the sixteenth consecutive monthly contraction, and the smallest decline since September last year. Irish supplies have now fallen 630m litres since the start of 2023 with most of that decline in the past 12 months, according to Eurostat.
German milk supplies continued to track lower down 1.1% in week 30 (ending 27 July 2024). French milk output rose 0.4% YOY in week 30 – this was the tenth consecutive weekly increase, but the lowest YOY expansion in that period. UK production fell 0.1% YOY in the same week, the first decline since mid-June.
