From April to June, rainfall is likely to be below average across most of Australia, with a 60%–80% chance of drier-than-normal conditions. There is a heightened risk of unusually low rainfall (the driest 20% of years) across southeast, eastern, and northern Australia. Maximum temperatures are very likely to be above average across most of southern Australia and parts of far northern Australia.
