Milk production increased in May by 9.4% YOY on a milk solids basis, and 7.6% YOY on a milk tonnage basis. For the full 2020/21 season, NZ milk production lifted 2.7% in milk solids and 2.6% on a tonnage basis.

The low months don’t add much to milk supply but there has been a trend to build May to July milk volumes in recent years.
