Milk processors continue to announce step-ups in an effort to secure supplies by 1 July. Bulla Foods announced a second step earlier in the week, lifting its farmgate milk price range by 20c to $9.10 to $9.70kgMS. Lactalis followed with a 20c increase for southern suppliers.

Fonterra, Saputo, Australian Dairy Farmers Corporation, Burra Foods, and Australian Consolidated Milk have increased their initial prices offers, now ranging from 15 to 30 cents, with opening ranges now mostly between $8.80 and $9.50kgMS
