The south coast of NSW has copped a deluge with up to 450mm of rain falling in four days across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions with some dairy farmers reporting up to a 20% drop in production as a result of the heavy falls. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Nowra received 366mm, Kangaroo Valley 454mm, while Robertson was hardest hit with 562mm falling in the seven days to 6 July. The rain caused heavy flooding along the Upper Nepean River at MAnagle Bridge and along the Hawkesbury River at North Richmond.
