New Zealand’s September milk production rose 5.2% YOY, close to NZX’s forecast of +5.4% YOY for the month. NZX reports it is the highest September production since 2020, bringing the season-to-date improvement to 6.5% compared to the same period a year ago, and 2.4% above the five-year rolling average.
In volume terms, milk production lifted 4.1% YOY in September, 5.6% ahead of the prior season.
