Milk intake in the Netherlands jumped 7.7% YOY in October—to a record high for October, well ahead of the previous record set in 2017 when Euro milk quotas were lifted.

According to Dutch news site Boerenbusiness, milk output is driven by high milk prices as well as changes to calving as a result of bluetongue.
