Price signals at this week’s GDT Pulse event converged, with powders easing lower while fats held steady to firmer.

NZ regular WMP C2 settled at US$3,555/t, down 3.9% from GDT #405 and –3.8% lower than the prior Pulse event. NZ instant WMP C2 settled at US$3,650/t, US$140/t lower than the previous Pulse event. NZ medium heat SMP C2 tumbled 6.1% from GDT #405 to settle at US$3,295/t, US$120/t lower than the settle price at the previous Pulse event. Arla MH SMP C2 settled 2.5% lower than GDT #405 to US$3,140/t and continues to be more competitive on pricing.
