Prices for regular WMP and medium heat SMP slide from GDT event #357 at this week’s Pulse auction.

Regular grade WMP price fell -0.6% from GDT #357 to US$3,395/t, but rose +0.9% against the Pulse auction a fortnight prior. The SGX-NZX WMP futures price settled US$45/t ahead of yesterday’s Pulse price.

Medium heat SMP price was down -3.3% from GDT #357 to US$2,660/t, but is 2.6% ahead of the previous Pulse outcome. The nearest SGX-NZX futures prices settled US$90/t higher than the Pulse price.

The auction spanned 28 minutes with 17 winning bidders out of 43 participants, taking 1,721t of the 1,750t on offer.
