Prices for both powders improved at this week’s GDT Pulse event.        

NZ C2 regular WMP rose to US$3,940/t, 1.5% ahead of prices achieved at GDT #384 and 3.0% higher than the prior Pulse event.

Fonterra C2 medium heat SMP prices rose 5.3% on the prior Pulse and 2.0% higher than GDT #384 at US$2,860/t.  The Arla medium heat C2 price increased 0.9% from GDT #384 and 0.7% from the prior Pulse.

24 winning bidders took home 1,839t of the 1,950t on offer at the event which spanned 13 bidding rounds over 29 minutes.
