Regular grade WMP and medium heat SMP prices fell at this week’s Pulse compared to last week’s GDT #379.

Regular grade WMP settled at US$4,335/t, declining 3% from GDT #379 but 3.3% above prices achieved at the prior Pulse event. The nearest SGX-NZX futures contract settled US$100/t above last nights achieved price at US$4,435/t.

Trends were similar for medium heat SMP, settling at US$2,900/t—down 3.0% from the C2 price achieved at GDT#379 but 0.2% above previous Pulse result. Similarly, SGX-NZX overshot the mark by US$100/t, with the May-25 contract settling at US$3,000/t. 

There were 22 winning bidders at the event, purchasing 1,982t of the 2,050t on offer.
