Prices declined at this week’s GDT pulse compared GDT #386.

The C2 regular WMP price settled at US$3,955/t, down 1.7% on GDT #386 and 0.1% lower than price achieved at the prior Pulse—which took place at the end of July. Instant WMP prices fell 1.7% from GDT #386 and  –4.3% compared to the prior Pulse—with instant WMP sales 39% of WMP sold at the event. 

The C2 price for Fonterra medium heat  SMP also settled at US$2,690/t, down 1.6% on GDT #386 and –4.9% on the prior Pulse. The Arla medium heat C2 price rose 0.7% compared to GDT #386, settling at US$2,735/t. That was a premium to NZ product and 1.5% higher than the corresponding contract at the end of July Pulse.
