Regular grade WMP price rose 1.7% from GDT #362 to US$3,560/t  at this week’s Pulse auction, +9.2% compared to prices achieved at the previous event two weeks ago. The SGX-NZX WMP futures contract for September 2024 settled at US$3,525/t prior to the event.

Medium heat SMP sold for US$2,670/t, 2.7% above the C2 medium heat SMP prices at GDT#362 and +4.7% compared to the prior Pulse auction. The nearest SGX-NSX SMP futures contract settled US$30/t below the Pulse result at US$2,640/t.

The Pulse event spanned 15 rounds, lasting 30 minutes with 21 winning bidders out of 51 participants claiming 1,972t of the 2,000t on offer.
