This week’s Pulse event saw prices move lower compared to GDT #387 for most products—except NZ medium heat SMP.     Fonterra regular WMP settled at US$3,770/t, losing US$15/t (-0.4%) from GDT #387 and down US$185/t on the previous Pulse event. A similar decline was recorded for instant WMP prices which settled at US$3,865/t—0.4% lower on GDT #387 and –4.6% below prices achieved at the prior Pulse.

Fonterra’s medium heat SMP sold for US$2,610/t—slightly higher than last week’s GDT #387 price (US$2,590/t) but still US$80/t lower than the price achieved at the latest Pulse event. Arla’s medium heat SMP settled even lower—US$2,575/t—US$160/t lower than the latest Pulse and US$90/t lower than the GDT #387 price.
