Both regular grade WMP and medium heat SMP prices declined at the latest GDT Pulse event.

WMP prices settled at US$3,960/t, down 3.6% from GDT #374 and 3.5% lower than prices achieved at the previous Pulse event. The nearest SGX-NZX WMP futures contract for March, settled at US$3,870/t prior to the event. Medium heat SMP prices settled at US$2,780/t, 3.0% lower than GDT #374 and down 1.9% on the prior Pulse. The SGX-NZX SMP March-25 futures contract settled at US$2,840/t prior to the Pulse.
The event attracted 41 participants with 25 winning bidders buying 1,965t of the 2,000t on offer. The auction spanned 11 rounds over 22 minutes.
