Melbourne-based Pure Dairy, a supplier of US cheese to the Australian food sector, has announced a $100m investment to build a dairy conversion facility in Dandenong near Melbourne.

The facility is scheduled to open in early 2024, creating 450 new jobs and is reportedly the largest privately funded investment in Australian dairy in 40 years.
