The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has released a three-month climate update which is full of rain across key dairy regions in eastern Australia and warmer than average days for northern, western and southeastern past of Australia. Rainfall is likely to be above average (60% to over 80% chance) for most of the eastern half of Australia, with October showing the highest likelihood. Rainfall is likely to be below average (60% to 80% chance) for parts of southern Western Australia.
Despite July rain easing rainfall deficiencies, more rain is needed with September to November outlook a welcome change. Sea surface temperatures are expected to remain warmer than average in oceans to the north, east and southeast.
