Saputo Dairy Australia will streamline its operations, closing one of its dryers at its Maffra site from 18 March. It will also mothball a production area at its Cobram site in June, moving the work to an alternative manufacturing arrangement. Saputo says the decision is part of its “continual analysis of overall activities” and is part of measures aimed at improving operational efficiency and right sizing its manufacturing footprint.
