Regular grade WMP prices, settled  at US$3,980/t at this week’s Pulse auction—unchanged from the result achieved at the GDT #377 event and 1% higher than the previous Pulse event. According to NZX, 1,089t of 1,200t regular grade WMP was sold at the event. Instant grade WMP settled at US$4,075/t with 98t of 375t sold.

Meanwhile, medium heat SMP prices fell 2.6% compared to the price achieved at GDT #377 settling at US$2,800/t, but 1.8% higher than the previous Pulse event. The 500t of SMP available was sold.

The nearest SGX-NZX futures prices for regular grade WMP and medium heat SMP were mixed; with WMP settling lower than the achieved Pulse price at US$3,975 while SMP futures were higher at US$2,870/t.
