Spot milk prices in key producing regions have moved sideways in recent weeks following a precipitous fall in value. German spot milk prices have been hovering the mid-30c range for several week, while the Dutch price rebounded from the high 20s last week after outages and maintenance in several large factories. However there is no market recovery, further shutdown are scheduled.

Cream prices have also been relatively stable at around €6,000/t, but may not stay there for long. DCA reports skim milk concentrate is under the most pressure, with factory capacity stretched and producers selling at a loss.
