Regular grade WMP fell to US$3,155/t at this week’s GDT Pulse event, down 2% compared to GDT auction #351 and 2.3% behind the previous Pulse result. The March 2024 SGX-NZX WMP futures contract settled at US$3,180/t– just US$25/t higher than the achieved C2 regular WMP result. 

Medium heat SMP settled at US$2,610/t, edging 0.2% higher than prices achieved at GDT event #351, but down 3.9% compared to the previous Pulse auction. The nearest futures contract settled just US$5/t lower at US$2,605/t.

Out of 39 participating bidders there were 22 winners, who took home the entire 2,000t of product on offer over 11 rounds lasting 22 minutes.
