The Australian Dairy Farmers Corporation announced a milk price hike of $0.15kgMS effective 1 January, lifting its January to June price to $10.45kgMS. The lift in farmgate prices applies to milk supplied in the six months from 1 January 2023 and will be paid in March.  With July to December price at $10.05kgMS ADFC estimates the average price paid for 2022/23 season will be $10.05kgMS. According to ADFC General Manager Andrew Sutton, 165 farmers will share in the step-up, paid in the latest monthly milk statement.
